What are you waiting for?
1-on-1 Horsemanship Life Coaching with Chevy can help you get really clear on your dreams, and make a solid plan to put those dreams into action.
I would love the opportunity to work with you. In my 1-on-1 Coaching, we further explore the 4 P's of Grit: Passion, Practice, Perseverance, and Purpose.
Here's how it works: We schedule four 45 minute phone calls at a time that works for both of us. Before our calls I will send you a detailed questionnaire to really get to know you and your horsemanship dreams.
During our first call we will focus on your why. I mean, really dig deep about WHY you ride. Getting really clear on your reason why, your passion for horses, and uncovering your inner thoughts, feelings, and motivations.
During our second call we will work on the how. This is where we reverse engineer, going from the goal that you want to achieve, and chunking it down into bite sized pieces. We will make you a personalized road map that plans out your journey, step by step. This is the planning and practice stage.
During our third call we check in on your progress. What new obstacles have appeared? We also will work on perseverance, and what to do when the trail gets a little bumpy to keep you motivated and on track.
During the fourth call we will evaluate your plan, and I will continue to support you by providing mental tools and tips. We will also check in with how your unique journey fulfills your purpose, and bring enjoyment back to your horsemanship!
I also send you homework, resources, and activities to work on in between our calls.
Other coaching programs charge $100 per call.
For a limited time, my Get Gritty Coaching Program is just $200. That is only $50 per call (and many of my clients say the additional resources shared between calls-the videos and worksheets-were worth the cost of the program alone!)
Space is limited-I only take on 1-3 individual clients at a time, so you are sure to get plenty of individualized attention.

Mindfulness for Your Horsemanship Journey
I'm going to get real with all of you-Mindfulness is a practice that I have struggled with.
I struggle with the idea of just sitting somewhere and not really DOING anything. I mean, I breathe all on my own without thinking about, why do I need to practice it?
So believe me, I get it if you feel like Mindfulness isn’t for you. However, I encourage you stick with it. Here's why.
Research shows that we are rarely thinking about the present moment. We tend to either be thinking of the future-what we need to do later, or we are thinking of the past-what we should have done.
Like many horsewomen, my thoughts are often anxieties and worries about the future or ruminating and replaying events from the past.
Is that how you want to live? Always worrying, always mentally beating yourself up for past events, always focusing on the negative? Or do you want to enjoy the present moment, savor the good events, be grateful for all the blessings in your life, and look forward to the positive things that your horsemanship journey has in store for you?
If you want to get out of the rut of negativity and improve your horsemanship,
then mindfulness is a key practice to help you re-wire your brain and shift your thinking.
In this ebook, you will learn 15 quick and easy Mindfulness Techniques that are designed to help your horsemanship. After purchase you will get a link to download a pdf of the ebook.

2024 Get Gritty Winter Horsemanship Challenge
Are you gritty enough for the 2024 Winter Horsemanship Challenge?
Starting Sunday, January 7th through Saturday, March 2nd, 2024, the grittiest riders commit to working with their horse 24 times (an average of 3 times a week). Along the way you'll go through Chevy’s Get Gritty Goal Setting Program and learn groundwork and riding exercises so you can start 2024 on the right hoof!
This challenge is open to any rider, any discipline, any breed. This isn't a training challenge, but rather, an accountability and inspiration challenge. You are responsible for tracking the sessions that you spend with your horse-we are working on the honor system here. I highly encourage you to be active in the Facebook group supporting each other, posting your photos and videos.
What counts? Any session with your horse(s) that is at least 20 minutes of time when you are focused on your horse. This can be riding, doing groundwork, liberty, bodywork, basically any kind of activity with your horse.
Now, if you are in, I expect you to be IN. The challenge is to work with your horse 24 times during the 8 week challenge. No excuses-this means getting out there in the cold and snow, the rain and mud. Together, we're going to get gritty, turn our passion for horsemanship into practice, and persevere through the winter blahs. Come spring, you and your horse will be ready to go!
This challenge is more than just a place to track your rides-it is also a motivational goal setting coaching program! Each week has a different coaching video and pdf workbook to help you develop turn your horse dreams into goals and action plans to be successful with your horse in 2024 and beyond.
Here's what you'll get during the challenge:
Weekly Challenge Exercises! There will be one groundwork exercise and one riding exercise posted each Sunday. The groundwork exercises are the exercises I use to prepare colts for their first saddling. The riding exercises are the basic riding skills for any discipline. These are great refresher exercises for every horse and rider!
Weekly Goal Setting Coaching Sessions. Each week Chevy will share with you a coaching video and printable pdf workbook walking you through her Get Gritty Goal Setting program. By the end of the 8 week challenge you will have mapped out how you will achieve your 2024 horse goals.
Daily support from Coach Chevy and other Challenge Participants in the private challenge Facebook Group to keep you inspired and motivated! Post your photos and videos to share every win, celebrate your progress and support each other.
Win a Challenge Champion Prize!
Of course, the biggest prize you'll earn is improving your horsemanship, furthering your partnership with your horse and making progress towards your horse goals.
Gritty Cowgirls (and Cowboys!) that log in 24 sessions during the challenge will win a Get Gritty Winter Challenge Champion water bottle (and bragging rights!)
Enter the Winter Challenge Virtual Horse Show!
Challenge participants will also be eligible to enter the Winter Challenge Virtual Horse Show, judged by Chevy. Ribbons will be awarded through 6th place, and all virtual show participants will receive a detailed score card with tips for improvement. Additional class entry fees will apply, stay tuned for more details!
What are you waiting for? If you want to start 2024 at a gallop and get to work on transforming your horse dreams into reality, then the Get Gritty Winter Horsemanship Challenge is for you!
Note-once you purchase you will get a welcome letter pdf download. This welcome letter pdf includes the link to the private challenge Facebook group and information about the challenge. You'll also be added to an email list to received weekly emails during the challenge.
