Cowgirl Mindset Mini Course

The cowgirl mindset mini course

Thanks for joining the Cowgirl Mindset Mini Course! In this short course you'll learn what a cowgirl mindset is, and easy mental strategies that you can start practicing today to improve your relationship with your horse.

Lesson 1: What is the Cowgirl Mindset?

Learn what the Cowgirl Mindset is, and two simple mindset hacks you can start using today to channel your inner cowgirl.

Lesson 2: Cowgirls know why they ride

Horsemanship Journeys can be a rough ride. There will be obstacles along the way. Injuries, financial setbacks, changes in priorities, or just life happening can all get in the way of you achieving your horse goals.

When challenges pop up, you need to know WHY you ride to be able to stay focused and persevere through the tough times. That is why I recommended that the cowgirls I work with write a personal mission statement, and post it somewhere they will see it often. Then when those tough days come, you will be better able to overcome them.

Lesson 3: cowgirls are aware of how their thoughts and feelings affect their horse

Cowgirls know horses are like mirrors, reflecting back to us our own thoughts and feelings. If we are overwhelmed and unfocused, or horses will be too. If we are nervous and unsure, our horses will be too. If we are calm and reassuring, our horses will be too.

Cowgirls are aware of this, and use this to their advantage. One exercise to help you to refocus and get to a calmer mindset is intention setting. By doing this intention setting exercise BEFORE you catch your horse, you will start off your time with you horse on a positive note.
